CHENNAI: The three-day property expo, organised by Confederation of Real Estate Developers saw a record breaking sale of 322 properties.
The property expo, FAIRPRO, held in the wake of recent Chennai floods, witnessed 22,800 footfalls through online and offline registrations and the total revenue generated was Rs 285 crore.
Industry sources said this was a pointer to the fact that real estate market in Chennai has bounced back, from the gloomy days that was witnessed in the aftermath of the floods, and is poised for a steady growth in the days, weeks and months to come.
The three day expo saw 80 developers displaying their 300 plus properties ranging from Rs 10 Lakh to Rs 10 crore.
Developers and banks have offered irresistible schemes like 10/90 for under construction projects and 12 months EMI holiday for ready to move in houses. Each Customer who made booking at the expo received a special prize of an Apple iPhone 6.
Ajit Kumar Chordia, President of CREDAI-Chennai, hailed the expo a huge success and said the response to the property expo was verwhelming.
